“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. Matthew 7:14

Are you paying attention to the repeated warnings of the Bible to watch out that you are not deceived? Please take a moment to really ponder this question.

“Watch out that no one deceives you. Matthew 24:4

“Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. Luke 21:8

If you have been following any of the preaching and teaching from church pastors around the world, you need to watch out! You need to make sure that you are standing on God’s Word and not following after manifestations of “the spirit”, which in many cases are not true manifestations of the Holy Spirit of God, but are a spirit of deception.

But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.  For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. 2Corinthians 11:3 &4

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. 2Corinthians 11:13-15

“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” 1 Timothy 4:1

What are some of these false teachings and manifestations? Watch this video to learn more. Pray before you watch and ask the Lord to give you discernment.

Did you ever read about anything like this happening in the Bible? If these things were of God, He would have taught us about them in His Word. We are told to have self-control. These people are out-of-control. They have abandoned the true faith and are following deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time. Matthew 24:23-25

Just because these things happen in a church, does not mean they are from God! Jesus warns us even the elect can be deceived. That’s us!

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
