The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1
Throughout the Bible God admonishes believers “not to fear”! Here are just a few Scriptures from Isaiah:
“Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. Isaiah 8;12
“Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Isaiah 35:4
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13
But I must confess, it seems that not many of God’s people are “bold as a lion” any longer.
It seems like courageous Christians have become the exception, rather than the rule, which is especially heart-breaking. And I know I am not alone in feeling this way.
I don’t usually attach articles from other authors in our blogs, but this one really jumped out at me when I read it and I thought it should be shared – hopefully far and wide among believers.

It is my hope and prayer that, we as true believers – the body of Christ – will arise at this time in history to be all that God called us to be. Courageous!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
